Designer Dress Days
Calling all fashion lovers! Designer Dress Days is back again this year - celebrating the 51st year of the sale!
So, what is Designer Dress Days?!
DDD combines the fun of bargain shopping with fashionista finds and the satisfaction of philanthropy. More than 250 volunteers make DDD an easy-to-navigate shopping experience that supports NCJW/CLE’s many programs impacting lives for women, children and families. Proceeds pay for the organization’s volunteer activities in the community, its social justice work and its educational programs. Projects include a focus on foster care, literacy improvement and restoring dignity to sexual abuse victims as well as educational and advocacy work for women’s rights, voter rights and human trafficking survivors. The organization is constantly assessing the community and political landscape to meet current needs.
Designer Dress Days takes place at Mandel Jewish Community Center (26001 S. Woodland Road Beachwood, Ohio), Friday, October 25th (a special preview day) through Tuesday, October 29th (excluding October 26th). The event is full of prestigious brands, including Rag and Bone, Prada and Armani, plus athleisure apparel, contemporary designer styles, handsome handbags, luxurious furs, and fashionable accessories. All of these items are new or gently used. This year there will be a celebrity rack with treasured items from well-known personalities. This is the perfect place to combine your love of fashion with an opportunity to give back to our local community!
Other designers represented include, but are not limited to, Free People, Vince, Theory, Alice and Olivia, Escada, St. John, Tory Burch, Gucci, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs, Ferragamo and Georgio Armani. Close to 8,000 items are on display!
To attend Friday’s preview day there is a $20 entry fee. The rest of the days for DDD are free to enter.
